Back in July, we reported that Kick-Ass 2director Jeff Wadlow signed on to write and direct the long-awaited X-Force adaptation.
While no story details have been confirmed yet, Jeff Wadlow teased a possible crossover into the X-Men franchise in August, although, the next week, the filmmaker revealed that he wanted X-Force to have an edgier tone thanX-Men.
Now that the script is complete, we'll have to wait and see when 20th Century Fox will give the green light for production to begin. It also isn't clear which X-Force members will be present in this adaptation. The comic book series had several different iterations throughout the years, including characters such as Cable, Cannonball, Domino, Warpath, Wolverine, Deadpool, Psylocke and Colossus.
X-Force comes to theaters in 2016. The film is directed by Jeff Wadlow.
