Earlier today, Paramount Pictures released the highly-anticipated first trailer forTerminator Genisys, which already has fans buzzing about this revamped story that alters the Terminator franchise timeline. Of course, it wouldn't be a true Terminatormovie without Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is back and better than ever as theaging T-800 Terminator. While Terminator Genisys may in fact restore this beloved franchise to its former glory, the first footage leaves fans with more questions than answers.

Thankfully, Arnold Schwarzenegger himself has taken to his official Facebook page to answer questions from fans about the trailer. The actor is currently sifting through more than 7,000 questions already posed by the fans, but you can check out some of his responses below. If you have a question for Arnold Schwarzenegger, check out the official Q&A post below, and read on for some of his answers.

When asked about the possibility of artificial intelligence posing a real threat to mankind in the 21st Century, the actor had this to say.

"In 1984, Terminator and Skynet were total science fiction. Today, everyone is relying on machines. So we are definitely heading in that direction. But don't worry - I'm here."

Arnold Schwarzenegger also spoke about working with director Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World) on this highly-anticipated sci-fi sequel, along with new cast members such as Jason Clarke (John Connor), Emilia Clarke (Sarah Connor) andJai Courtney (Kyle Reese).

"Alan Taylor was an absolutely fantastic, visionary director to work with. And the new cast was so talented, but more importantly, they were so willing to work their ass off to make this a great movie. For example, there was one big grueling, punishing fight scene that took a full week to shoot, and no one ever complained."

One of the most intriguing scenes in the trailer is when Arnold Schwarzenegger's aging Terminator squares off with the 1984 version. While we don't see much of that scene in the trailer, the actor teased that he does square off with "himself."

"It is absolutely bizarre to fight yourself, but at the same time nostalgic to go back to one of the scenes that really launched my career and experience it again."

Terminator Genisys comes to theaters July 1st, 2015 and stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Matt Smith, J.K. Simmons, Douglas Smith, Dayo Okeniyi. The film is directed by Alan Taylor.
