Photographer Jason Thomas started off as an accountant, getting a degree in the field at American International College and furthering his education with a Masters degree at Southern University, and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After working as an accountant in Louisiana, Jason answered the call of his creative side and found himself in New York City, where he studied acting and film. With his new found skills, Jason wrote, directed, and starred in two short films titled Famous and In The Alley. He also produced a documentary for a local church and put together and edited EPKs for local artists. In 2003, Jason started the popular podcast, The Half Show with his now wife. Together the couple covered all facets of entertainment and current events.
Jason’s first brush with photography came in 2006 with a point and shoot camera, closely inspecting his honeymoon photos. Deciding that he could do better, Jason purchased his first DSLR and instantly fell in love with photography and enrolled in the New York Institute of Photography. Working in the studio is where Jason fell in love with Fashion Model Photography. “I Love the glamour of capturing people at their best!” says the photographer.
